Etching and Assemblages

In parallel with my activity of painter, I also practice engraving, with a predilection for intaglio printing (etching, dry point and aquatint) on zinc or copper, married with embossing. This different techniques style enables me to find the effects and feelings I use in my painting. Drawings inspired of old anatomical boards or old books of astronomy are combined for purposes of matters in relief in compositions always very graphic and coloured.

From prints of some engravings I created assemblages on canvas, by also mixing painting, papers and various materials, used for their colour or their texture.
